Managing the federation
To manage and troubleshoot the federation, use a Medtronic account with login credentials that are not part of your federation domains. A typical personal account ending @gmail.com or @outlook.com is ideal for this purpose.
Confirm that you have the correct user and security settings to access the federation.
Caution: Misconfiguration may result in your users losing access to all Medtronic applications, not just Touch Surgery™.
Testing the federation
To validate the federation, use login credentials that are part of your federation domains, e.g., @exampledomain.com. Go to the URLs below to test that you can log in.
Ensure you test every domain that you specified for the federation.
If you enabled “just in time” provisioning for users in your institution (see Capabilities), please also validate that accounts created on first login can access the Touch Surgery™ application.

Common issues
If you see an error page after logging in, you may have misconfigured your claims. Please verify you have mapped the claims correctly.
If you are not redirected to your IdP on logging in, then the domain redirect has not yet been set up.
If you have enabled “just in time” provisioning, and an account created on first login goes to the paywall, there may be an issue with our configuration. Please contact your Customer Support representative for help.
For any other issues not specified here, please contact your Customer Support representative for help.
