Verify the domains you wish to add to the federation with Medtronic. Your users under those domains are directed to your IdP when they log in.
In Touch Surgery™:
Go to your Account Settings.
Select SSO setup.
Next to the desired connector, click Add Domain.
Enter your domain, without the @ symbol. (e.g., exampledomain.com)
Click Save.
Copy the verification code.
In your domain host account:
Go to your DNS records. This is typically under a section named “DNS management”, “Name server management”, “Control panel”, “Advanced settings”, or similar.
Create a TXT record.
For the name, host or alias value, input the domain you entered in Touch Surgery™. (e.g., exampledomain.com)
For the answer or destination value, input the verification code you copied from Touch Surgery™.
Save the record.
Note: Depending on your settings, the DNS changes may take up to 72 hours to propagate.
In Touch Surgery™:
Go to your Account Settings.
Select SSO setup.
Go to the Domains section.
Click Verify now.
When you have completed the above steps, the domain is verified, and we are notified to add domain lock. Domain lock ensures the specified domain is exclusive to your federation.
The process takes up to 2 business days. When complete, you receive a notification by email.
